May Day

I believe that May Day led to a lot of good and meaningful lives. The reason I say this is because it made a lot of people fight for what they believed in. Many people wouldn’t have fought like those people fought, as they protested at the risk of their lives. I feel bad for the people who gave the presentations because they were prosecuted for something they hadn’t done.

I think that if more people were to understand the meaning behind labor day that people would treat the holiday different than they do now. I think that more people would actually do that march instead of just chillin’ and stuff. I think this way because I know that once someone knows more about a certain subject, they tend to care more. That’s how I think at least, like if there’s something real interesting that maybe I didn’t know much about and then I get all this juicy and interesting information I’m going to understand it more and care more. Its like learning more about breast cancer and what it does to a person. It’s little things that are overlooked that, if they weren’t, would changed the ways people go about their lives, and how they think and act around certain subjects.
